an uneventful day of emailing and taking care of e-j, who was suffering a severe case of one-too-manyitus.  we debated whether the following day we would get on a tourist boat to visit more glaciers or do a hike on the perito moreno glacier.  eventually the hangover subsided and we returned to our rational senses, realising that 13 hours staring at the glacier had fully out-glaciered us and instead we would leave el calafate and head south, back to real patagonia.
